The BK Pro League is delighted to welcome Transfermarkt to its growing network of strategic partners, following the integration of Rwanda’s top-flight league into Transfermarkt’s global football database ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The partnership marks an important milestone for Rwandan football, bringing the BK Pro League, its clubs and players onto one of the world’s leading football data platforms.

The initial launch includes all 18 BK Pro League clubs and more than 500 registered players, providing fans, clubs, players, scouts, media and football professionals around the world with access to player profiles, club squads, fixtures, results and statistics.

For many Rwandan players, the integration also represents their first dedicated profile on Transfermarkt, giving them greater international visibility and creating an additional platform through which their performances and careers can be followed globally.

As the partnership develops, player market values and additional data will be introduced, further strengthening the international representation of the BK Pro League.

Christian Schwarz, Head of International at Transfermarkt, said:

We are delighted to include the Rwandan BK Pro League with all clubs and players in our database from now on. We regularly receive positive feedback from fans, clubs and players who have noticed the growing visibility of African football on Transfermarkt. At the same time, we hope that we can play our part in bringing African football further into the global spotlight with this development.

Jules Karangwa, CEO of the Rwanda Premier League, said:

We are delighted to welcome Transfermarkt to our growing portfolio of partners. Their addition marks another important step in our commitment to building strong strategic partnerships and further professionalising the league. Through this partnership, our players will also benefit from greater international exposure, including having their performances and market values recognised on a global football platform.

The BK Pro League looks forward to working closely with Transfermarkt to further improve the visibility, accessibility and recognition of Rwandan domestic football on the international stage.
