As part of its ongoing efforts to professionalize the BK Pro League and elevate operational standards across all participating clubs, Rwanda Premier League has officially released the BK Pro League equipment & guidelines for the 2026/27 season.

The new document, which comes into force on 1 September 2026, provides clubs, kit manufacturers, sponsors and commercial partners with clear technical guidance on the design, production and approval of playing kits and related equipment. The manual includes detailed diagrams illustrating approved branding locations, dimensions for sponsor logos, player names and numbers, competition badges, club crests and manufacturer identifiers.

The guidelines have been issued well in advance of the new season to allow clubs and their partners sufficient time to prepare and ensure compliance before the first match-day.

Jules KARANGWA, the RPL Chief Executive Officer welcomed the release of the document, describing it as another important step in the League's professionalisation agenda.

“By releasing these guidelines well ahead of the new season, we are providing clubs and their partners with adequate time to align their equipment and branding with the prescribed standards. We therefore expect a high level of compliance from the outset of the competition.” said the CEO.

The manual also seeks to promote consistency, improve the visual identity of the competition, strengthen commercial value for clubs and sponsors, and ensure that all teams meet the standards expected of a modern professional football league.
